Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year technology roadmaps spanning 2026-2035 with measurable innovation milestones
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints with engineering, design, and business units
- Develop patentable frameworks for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $2M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-driven decision making
- Author thought leadership publications in top-tier tech journals
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products post-2020
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Biotech, or Systems Engineering
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, CRISPR applications, or blockchain consensus
- Published author in IEEE/Nature with >500 citations
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and system architecture modeling
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($1M+)
- Portfolio of 3+ patented technologies
