Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, blockchain, and neuromorphic systems
- Lead R&D initiatives for ethical AI development and bias mitigation protocols
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations in human-computer interfaces
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate and incubate startup technologies
- Present strategic technology briefings to board members and industry consortiums
- Mentor cross-disciplinary teams in agile methodologies for rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in emerging technology strategy at Fortune 500 companies
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on quantum computing or AI ethics
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TF) or Horizon Scanning methodologies
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems and digital assets
