- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive tech adoption
- Partner with product teams to integrate future tech capabilities into core offerings
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused prioritization
- Build and mentor a high-performing technology foresight team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning frameworks
- Executive-level presentation skills with board experience
- Proficiency in innovation methodologies (Design Thinking, Lean Startup)
- Strong network with tech research institutions (MIT, Stanford, etc.)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management preferred
