Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate emerging technologies and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage innovation incubators and pilot programs for futuristic concepts
- Establish KPIs to track technology adoption and ROI for future-focused initiatives
- Build partnerships with research institutions and venture capital firms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven experience developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Track record of launching at least two disruptive tech initiatives
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
