Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with $2M+ annual R&D budget
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Present futuristic technology frameworks to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts impacting 2026 technology landscapes
- Develop patent strategies for emerging domains like neural interfaces and climate tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience with publications in Nature/Science
- Expertise in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech policy frameworks (US/EU/Asia)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with agile development in experimental environments
