Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Analyze emerging tech trends (Web4, biotech integration, neuro interfaces) for commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets across 3+ concurrent projects
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile methodologies and future-proof architecture
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Produce annual technology impact reports for board-level decision making
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products (3+ successful exits)
- Expertise in at least 3 of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level presentation skills with experience to Fortune 500 audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in innovation
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (IEEE, Nature Technology)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Fluency in at least 2 programming languages (Python/Java preferred)
