Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercial potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Manage innovation portfolios balancing risk, ROI, and market impact
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes through quantitative/qualitative analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record developing commercialization strategies for AI, blockchain, or quantum technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and venture capital community
- Certification in technology management or innovation management (e.g., CDMP, CIPM)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level stakeholder management experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization initiatives
