Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026-2030 market opportunities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Develop go-to-market strategies for next-gen products with 18-36 month lead times
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI reviews
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and Board of Directors
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and prototyping specialists
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products/services
- Expertise in emerging tech domains (blockchain, quantum, AI ethics)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for long-term tech investments
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation publications
