Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum AI, biotech integration, and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts to prototype future-facing solutions
- Analyze market trends and competitor landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Collaborate with venture capital partners to identify and acquire promising startups
- Establish KPIs for measuring impact of future technologies on business growth
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation culture across organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Certification in technology strategy or innovation management preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
