Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum AI, neurointerfaces, synthetic biology)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Develop risk mitigation frameworks for ethical and existential technology challenges
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and future-tech incubation programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5-year+ forecasting success
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Executive-level experience with multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Track record of launching at least one category-defining technology product
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
