As a key member of our R&D leadership team, you'll collaborate with elite engineers, data scientists, and industry disruptors to develop long-term technology strategies. You'll conduct horizon scanning, analyze emerging tech trends, and translate insights into actionable plans that position Innovatech as a market leader by 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and spatial computing
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market demands and business objectives
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future tech strategies into corporate vision
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify disruptive threats/opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with compelling data visualizations
- Manage cross-functional innovation initiatives with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., generative AI, quantum, neurotech)
- Proven track record of executing successful tech transformation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and boards of directors
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technologies
