Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 5-10 year commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental technology initiatives
- Author thought leadership on future technology trends and ethical implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2026+ vision
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Track record of commercializing experimental technologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for technology ROI forecasting
- PhD or equivalent in relevant STEM field preferred
- Published research on future technology trends or patents in emerging tech
- Experience managing innovation budgets >$3M
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
