What you'll do:
- Lead technology horizon scanning for 2026+ trends in quantum AI, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging tech with market demands and business objectives
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our Innovation Labs
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on technological disruption opportunities
- Drive thought leadership through industry publications and conference keynotes
Responsibilities
- Conduct quarterly technology foresight analysis using AI-powered trend prediction tools
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to evaluate emerging technologies' commercial viability
- Develop investment frameworks for emerging tech startups and internal innovation projects
- Author annual 'Future Tech Outlook' reports influencing company-wide R&D priorities
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of technological curiosity
- Represent the company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum, AI, Web3)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Experience managing multi-million dollar tech innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry media
