Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies and assess market viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI/ML integration and quantum computing adoption
- Architect cross-functional innovation labs for prototyping 2026-era solutions
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready capabilities into core offerings
- Author thought leadership pieces on technology evolution trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech roles
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or neuromorphic systems
- Proven track record of launching commercially successful tech innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of technology adoption lifecycles and market dynamics
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience managing high-budget R&D initiatives with measurable ROI
