Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and organizational goals
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics) to identify competitive advantages
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption and ROI on future-focused initiatives
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Mentor teams in future-proofing methodologies and strategic thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Engineering (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Certifications in strategic foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFI, CPSM)
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry forums
