Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ tech landscapes (quantum, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies into product pipelines
- Partner with engineering to prototype next-gen solutions using 6G, AR/VR, and decentralized tech
- Present tech foresight briefings to investors and board members
- Build cross-functional innovation labs with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough technologies
- Advise on ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record predicting tech trends (showcase via published papers or patents)
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum, neurotech, or climate tech
- Experience scaling global innovation programs ($50M+ budgets)
- Advanced degree in CS, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
