As a key member of our R&D leadership team, you'll shape how we integrate emerging technologiesâincluding quantum computing, advanced AI, and biotech breakthroughsâinto scalable commercial applications. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, lead cross-functional innovation sprints, and represent our company at global tech forums.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups to accelerate R&D
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with potential to disrupt $1B+ markets
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team of 8-12 specialists
- Represent the company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership papers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology)
- Experience scaling innovation from concept to $100M+ revenue products
- Strong network within global tech research institutions and venture capital
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex tech to business stakeholders
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (AWS re:Invent, CES, etc.)
