Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI governance frameworks
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in decentralized tech and climate innovation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align engineering, product, and commercial teams on future-proof initiatives
- Author strategic briefs for executive leadership and board stakeholders on tech disruption scenarios
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness including sustainability metrics and ethical AI adoption
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and startups in emerging tech incubators
- Represent Nexus at global tech forums like Web3 Summit and Future Forward Conference
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning or emerging technology roles with Fortune 500/SaaS experience
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3 infrastructure
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-validated products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (or equivalent experience)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFS) or Technology Foresight methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning frameworks and technology adoption curves
- Experience with AI ethics governance frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act compliance)
