Responsibilities
- Lead research and development of emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, sustainable AI)
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps aligning tech innovation with market demands
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech solutions into core business operations
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy discussions
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-tech adoption methodologies
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape studies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with demonstrable impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven experience scaling tech innovations from concept to enterprise deployment
- Published research or patents in future technologies preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Fluency in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
