Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies with disruptive potential through market analysis and patent research
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and societal trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate abstract innovations into actionable product concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D labs to secure first-mover advantages
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption across global markets
- Quantify ROI scenarios for experimental technologies using probabilistic forecasting models
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record of successfully launching products based on nascent technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (VCs, universities, think tanks)
