Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology) with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to prototype and validate future concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact assessments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups for cutting-edge R&D integration
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-technological shifts affecting technology adoption landscapes
- Author thought leadership content on future technology trends and their business implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies or futures research
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Proven experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI ethics, Web3, biotech, etc.)
- Certification in futures forecasting (e.g., CFP, Foresight Practitioner) or equivalent
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented future-tech initiatives
- Experience working in agile innovation environments with rapid prototyping cycles
