Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence)
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish innovation KPIs and track adoption rates of emerging technologies
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech pioneers
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with measurable ROI targets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI, or quantum-safe cryptography
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Master's degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on future tech trends
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
