Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AR/VR ecosystems)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions with 12-month commercialization horizons
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators to capture frontier research
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses to identify disruptive threats and opportunities in global tech markets
- Architect ethical frameworks for AI deployment and biometric technologies ensuring regulatory compliance
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to the board of directors and investors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Deep expertise in at least two frontier technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or spatial computing
- Portfolio demonstrating successful delivery of minimum 3 technology commercialization projects
- Certification in technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing distributed R&D teams
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
