Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, biocomputing, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze patent landscapes and academic research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop go-to-market strategies for nascent technologies with <2-year commercialization horizons
- Advise executive leadership on technological disruption risks and opportunities
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic frameworks to investors and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching tech-forward products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio of strategic blueprints or innovation projects
