Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, sustainable tech) for commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Create executive-level briefings on technological disruption and competitive positioning
- Oversee implementation of pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
- Mentor technical teams on future-proofing methodologies and adaptive innovation
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching 3+ successful future-tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in strategic foresight or technology innovation management preferred
