Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 10-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, neurotech, climate-tech)
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives in collaboration with MIT and Stanford research labs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems
- Pioneer ethical frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems
- Author thought leadership for industry publications and conferences
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic tech roles with demonstrable impact on 2020-2025 tech shifts
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI ethics)
- Proven experience leading global R&D initiatives with Fortune 500 partners
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation platforms
