Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech) and develop 5-10 year implementation strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with $500K+ annual innovation budgets
- Forge strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley startups and academic research institutions
- Present technology roadmaps to the Board of Directors with ROI projections and risk assessments
- Champion corporate innovation programs including hackathons and venture incubation
- Oversee patent portfolios and IP strategies for proprietary future-tech initiatives
- Advise product teams on integrating disruptive technologies into commercial offerings
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- MBA/MS in Technology Management or equivalent; PhD preferred in emerging fields
- Proven track record scaling AI, blockchain, or biotech solutions to enterprise level
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with executive presence
- Published research or patents in future technologies (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging tech (NIST, ISO standards)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java) and data analysis tools
