Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology adoption roadmaps with 18-month execution plans
- Research and evaluate emerging tech: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions (AR/VR, neural interfaces)
- Manage innovation sprints with Silicon Valley startups and academic partners
- Create governance frameworks for ethical AI and autonomous systems
- Present quarterly tech forecasts to board of directors
- Mentor junior strategists in future-scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with Fortune 500 or unicorn companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech (IEEE, ACM, or equivalent)
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech
- Experience building innovation labs with $5M+ budgets
- Fluency in scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
