Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (2026 horizon) across AI, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable product prototypes and business cases
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property frameworks for next-gen innovations
- Collaborate with global partners to establish industry standards for future technologies
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching products with future-tech components (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience securing R&D budgets exceeding $10M for futuristic initiatives
- Published research or patents in at least two emerging technology domains
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (preferred)
