Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams to prototype next-gen solutions in simulated 2026 environments
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Develop patent strategies for emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting 2026+ deployments
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year impact horizons
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field (preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing $50M+ R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Deep understanding of ISO/IEC 42001 and IEEE 7000 series standards
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and technology adoption curves
