Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead research initiatives in emerging domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders via executive briefings and white papers
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation workshops
- Manage vendor partnerships for pilot programs and technology trials
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (5+ year horizon)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in strategic foresight or technology management preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology transformation initiatives
