Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a 3-5 year technology innovation roadmap aligned with market evolution
- Lead market research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for strategic partnerships or acquisition
- Develop proof-of-concept projects for next-gen technologies
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future tech into commercial offerings
- Build and manage an external innovation ecosystem including academia and industry leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 disruptive tech products
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience building technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation (patents, whitepapers)
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech and venture capital communities
