Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and evaluating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Identify and assess strategic partnerships, M&A opportunities, and investment targets in future tech sectors
- Drive innovation through R&D initiatives and rapid prototyping of breakthrough solutions
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption and sustainable implementation
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of continuous innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in leadership positions
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption and commercialization
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, IoT, blockchain, or quantum computing ecosystems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Experience with scenario planning, market analysis, and competitive intelligence
- Strong stakeholder management skills with C-suite experience
- Certification in strategic planning (e.g., CSCP, TOGAF) highly desirable
