- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on futuristic product visions
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members using data-driven simulations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen interfaces and interaction models
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology adoption timelines
- Author thought leadership pieces on the societal impact of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record in commercializing next-gen technologies (quantum/AI/AR)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Strong network within DARPA, IEEE, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technology adoption patterns
- Proficiency in simulation tools like AnyLogic or System Dynamics modeling
