Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, bio-integrated systems)
- Identify and evaluate breakthrough technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with MIT, Stanford, and global innovation labs
- Develop patent strategies and IP protection frameworks for frontier technologies
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-backed projections
- Build and lead a specialized futurist research team
- Author industry-defining whitepapers on 2026 technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Futurism
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, neuro-interfaces, climate tech
- Published author in peer-reviewed technology journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding
- Deep network within DARPA, NSF, and global tech consortia
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
