Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy roadmap focusing on 2026 and beyond
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs to track technology adoption and ROI of innovation initiatives
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into roadmaps
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, neuromorphic AI)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
