Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Identify and cultivate partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Create predictive market models for 2026+ technological adoption scenarios
- Develop and manage a $10M+ innovation portfolio with measurable ROI
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members with compelling data narratives
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology scouts
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
