Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-5 year technology strategy roadmap aligned with 2026 industry forecasts
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for competitive advantage
- Partner with C-suite to integrate innovation into corporate strategy and budget allocation
- Manage a portfolio of R&D projects from ideation to market-ready prototypes
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation taskforce with engineers, data scientists, and market analysts
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Monitor global tech trends, patent landscapes, and regulatory developments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AI governance, sustainable tech, neuro interfaces)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder management
