Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for breakthrough technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging tech into core business operations
- Champion innovation through R&D partnerships and startup ecosystem engagement
- Present future scenarios and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Oversee technology incubation projects from concept to market validation
- Build and lead a high-performance future technologies task force
- Ensure alignment with ESG principles in all innovation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Credibility with C-suite executives and external tech communities
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech investment analysis
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or conferences
