Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Create ROI models and risk assessments for futuristic technology investments
- Present technology roadmaps to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies and ethical tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in implementing emerging technologies at enterprise scale
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum computing, AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Executive presence with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in emerging technologies (e.g., Quantum Computing, AI Strategy) preferred
- Experience building innovation ecosystems within Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
