Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies with 2026+ market impact potential
- Develop and execute strategic technology adoption roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence
- Present findings to C-suite executives and boards of directors
- Manage cross-functional innovation labs with $5M+ annual budgets
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on future tech trends
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Proven track record of launching 3+ industry-defining technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, nanotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Fluency in scenario modeling and technology forecasting methodologies
- Portfolio of published research or patents in future technologies
