Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for next-gen innovations (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, bio-integrated systems)
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough technologies
- Analyze market disruption vectors and competitive landscapes for emerging tech sectors
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Drive patent strategy and IP protection for proprietary innovations
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption and market impact
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within high-growth sectors
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Cambridge, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with venture capital funding cycles and tech incubation programs
