Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, identifying disruptive trends and market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs for technology scouting
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for early-stage technology investments and pilot programs
- Author thought leadership content positioning our company as a 2026 technology pioneer
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies and analytical frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology forecasting, or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Deep understanding of global tech policy, ethical frameworks, and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous technology transitions
- Published thought leader in tech innovation or future studies (preferred)
