Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate strategic vision into actionable R&D priorities
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews in emerging tech domains
- Develop business cases for new technology investments including ROI projections
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into development roadmaps
- Represent company at industry forums and shape thought leadership in future tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing cutting-edge technologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience with technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Certification in Innovation Management or Technology Strategy preferred
