- Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Design strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and secure cross-functional buy-in
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with measurable ROI targets
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proof methodologies and emerging tech integration
- Monitor regulatory shifts and ethical considerations in next-gen tech ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven impact on 2020+ tech transformations
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable systems
- Track record of launching successful innovation initiatives with >$5M budgets
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network in Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and venture capital circles
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven strategic planning experience
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from FTI or similar) preferred
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (IEEE, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
