Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology adoption roadmap for emerging domains including AI ethics, quantum-resistant cryptography, and neurotech interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with venture partners and academic institutions
- Analyze global tech trends and regulatory impacts to inform strategic R&D investments
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to the board of directors quarterly
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation ROI across experimental projects
- Champion ethical technology frameworks in partnership with policy think tanks
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies and foresight techniques
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrable impact on Fortune 500 roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, or spatial computing)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations with $50M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (VCs, labs, accelerators)
- Security clearance eligibility for classified projects
