Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching, evaluating, and implementing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify paradigm shifts and competitive threats in tech ecosystems
- Partner with product teams to translate technological capabilities into market-ready innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and manage an external network of technology pioneers, researchers, and venture partners
- Drive innovation culture through thought leadership and internal tech evangelism
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ in executive leadership positions
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, or biotech)
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Deep expertise in tech forecasting methodologies and market trend analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex futures to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience building high-performance innovation teams and managing R&D budgets >$10M
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation management
