Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum, Web3, neurotech) with 3-5 year impact assessments
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging tech with business objectives and market opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite to prioritize R&D investments with ROI modeling and risk analysis
- Partner with product teams to integrate next-gen capabilities into customer solutions
- Present visionary insights to investors and industry thought leaders at global summits
- Build and lead cross-functional innovation labs with academic and startup partners
- Maintain competitive intelligence through patent analysis and ecosystem mapping
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or synthetic biology
- Certification in technology forecasting (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Executive-level presentation skills with experience at Davos or equivalent forums
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (IEEE, Nature, TechCrunch)
