Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough opportunities for 2026
- Architect strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech initiatives with business objectives
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members
- Develop future-proof governance frameworks for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Executive-level stakeholder management experience
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Experience with agile innovation methodologies and portfolio management
