Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating technological innovations with business objectives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify first-mover opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on technology adoption priorities
- Create executive-level presentations with data-driven insights and ROI projections
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Build and maintain relationships with startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps for 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR) and their applications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend forecasting
- Strong communication abilities to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CIMP, CIPM) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology transformation initiatives
